CASINO NIGHT - A Big Winner !!

TexREIA's " Raise the Roof " Casino Night fund raiser (October 20, 2007) was a tremendous success! Our ambitious goals for both attendance and fund raising were not only met, but impressively exceeded!  See Photos of Casino Night

    A ‘full house’ of more than 200 party goers (plus Spon-sors and guests) enjoyed an exciting evening of delicious food, great fun and wonderful prizes. In addition to a generous buffet dinner and full game casino, the evening’s entertain-ment also included an extensive silent auction, raffle drawings every ten minutes for a choice of fun bonus prizes, and a “Split –the-Pot” drawing that netted one lucky winner $395 in instant cash! And the live (chip) auction at the end of the evening delivered a big payoff for the evening’s efforts at the game tables - including a Cruise to Cozomel, a Weekend at a delux Mountain Retreat, an HD TV, a digital camera, a high-resolution web cam and an Apple Ipod - among others.
    And TexREIA’s contribution to NARHRI of the net proceeds of $13,144.00 from this event will provide more than half of TexREIA'a overall goal of $25,000 to support NARHRI's work in Texas in 2008. We hope this generosity by Dallas investors will serve as a guide and motivation for other investor communities around Texas to raise similar support for NARHRI. .
    Considering that this was TexREIA's first effort at a major fund raising event, and that we had less than sixty days to organize, prepare and promote it, we are especially gratified by its unqualified success.
